Space Task Force

Everything is still looking good for a launch at 7:38pm (there’s a 10-minute window for launch). Here at the NASA Media Center, journalists from around the world have gathered to cover the flight. If you look in the monitors on the right and left you can see the crew getting ready on board Atlantis.

Next major milestone: Astronaut Steve Lindsey will take off in the Shuttle Training Aircraft at 6pm to monitor weather.
